5 Blogging Tips I Use

Blog TipsI really like to write – but sometimes blogging can be tough and the more I blog, it feels like I’ve just run out of ideas for my newest blog post – or article for that matter.

When you write for your blog, your goal is to get your ideal customer’s attention,  creating engagement.

You have the technology, the business skills, now share what you know. And, if you don’t have the knowledge, get it and share it with your ideal customers.

Take a look at some of these blogging tips – print this out and post it near your computer to give yourself some blogging advice!

1. Read Within Your Niche
Subscribe to blogs and websites within your niche. Search for articles that others have written – not to copy, but to inspire.

2. Re-purpose Your Writing
Use your old articles that you submitted and update them for your blog post. And, know that if your article was say 500 words – you may expand that and have 2 blog posts. The blog posts industry accepted standard is 250-600 words. Mine usually run between 300-500 words.

3. Ask Your Readers
If you have a popular blog why not ask the readers what they want to read about on your blog. If you don’t have a list of readers – talk to me about your Social Media marketing and list building tips – I am really good at that!

4. Look For Questions
It has been said that great articles come from great questions. Search the net for questions in your niche. Do a keyword search, to see what your niche is looking for. And, you can find your questions on forums in your niche.

  • Maybe write a list of questions that you can answer.

5. Visit Article Directories
Search for articles in your niche to get those ideas. Sometimes the article will already be written you just have to expand upon it. I love that. (Doesn’t mean to copy it, though!)

  • Remember reading the news is a great way to generate ideas for your articles and continue your own learning.

Once you start writing – it improves and you move along more quickly! Hang in there – but do something! Take action daily to grow you and your business.

Be proactive, have fun and good luck – but, why rely on luck? You can get in touch with me, as your coach and I can help make the path less bumpy!
