You can be one of the businesses that build their email list of subscribers with this Joint Venture (JV) Giveaway event!
JV Giveaways are the fastest and least costly ways to give a boost your business and email lists.
#1 To get kick started, you just need a valuable ‘freebie’ gift to share, a landing page to share your lead magnet details on, and an autoresponder to capture subscriber’s information.
What are lead magnets?
A lead magnet is your free, and valuable, offer that you give in exchange for your audience’s email address and name. You have lead magnets to help build your email list. Helping you convert visitors to your website/blog and social media sites into leads.
Examples of lead magnets:
- E-Books,
- A list that may be: how to get healthy quickly, what’s needed on vacations, get back into college, straighten out your finances, organization checklist
- Reports
- Audios/Videos
- This year I was able to offer my (Free) 10 Day Get-It-Done Facebook Challenge << Click and take a look
Because…
JV Giveaway events are traffic magnets.
The host of the JV Giveaway events shares all the gifts contributed by the partners to one or more pages. That means your landing page with your gift will be shared with thousands of possible subscribers to join your list!
- Site visitors will go to download any gifts of their choice being offered, your gift will be among them if you entered to be a partner and give a gift away.
- They’ll check out what you offer and put in their email and name to get your great free offer to them.
- Now you’re building your list with your lead magnet!
Once you have the basics in place it is a simple a method.
You can get excited!
#2 You’ll get visibility for your products and services to hundreds, maybe even thousands, of new people who can join your list and learn more about what you do!
There are lots of different JV Giveaways around.
Basically…
During JV Giveaway events, you get email subscribers that want to receive your lead magnet offers that you’ve promoted with the JV Giveaway.
These events have promotions to the lists of the host and from each participant’s lists and bring in thousands of visitors. And this particular one has thousands of visitors!!
These visitors then have the opportunity to see your lead magnet!
But wait…
Where does the Traffic Come From?
All of the contributors (like you and me) invite people on their list to the giveaway.
Don’t have a list?
Then you can start today by adding your own offer on your blog and capture a few of your favorite readers’ information.
This is how you get massive visibility and traffic for your work, business, and blog!
Do you see the value?
If you don’t think you need a list, your blogging is doing just fine. Think about this…
I’m talking about bringing new subscriber onto your email list where you can offer more value regularly and with a consistent foundation In place.

This does sound like a good way to build your list. I have to admit that I am REALLY slacking in that area. It is something I always have on my continual “to do” list.

Thanks Chrysa – when I started blogging, building my list was my main focus for starting my blog –
These are great tips. Lists are a great way to build your following and business, but it can be extremely difficult to build them.

Thank you for this very informative post. I know very little about offering giveaways on my blog or building an e-mail list and it’s something I would like to begin doing in the future.

It was only recently that I started promoting other bloggers’ giveaways ans I have to admit that it helped in boosting my list. I am thinking of hosting my own giveaway, too.

Good for you – It’s a lot of techie work for a large giveaway that I’m talking about and lots of time to connect with 100’s of contributors as is in this group – but yours may be a totally different type of giveaway – I’ll be interested in hearing more
A subscriber list is always great for bloggers! Thanks for this info!

Thank you Alli – I appreciate that and hope to hear how your list is growing 🙂
I think lead ins are important. I wish I had more time to devote to learning about things like this here.
I am actually getting away from giveaways because for me, they bring in more spam and fake followers.
Valuable resource to have in business.

This is totally new information for me. Always looking for new ways and ideas to build up our blog list and email list and subscribers. Will save this to refer back too.
This is great information. I always have low results for my giveaways, unfortunately, and rarely do them anymore. I’ll have to try something using this and see how it goes.
Hi Jacque – I’m glad to hear this was helpful – I hope you sign up as a contributor – and let me know how it goes for you
I am always looking for ways to draw more traffic to my blog. Thanks for sharing your tips – this is one I haven’t done.
I’ve been trying to boost my subscribers since I started my blog. I’m going to try your suggestions because I think it will work well. I do have one or two people unsubscribe after my giveaway winners are announced but most stick with me.
I’ve just started running giveaways on my Blog, and they seem to be doing well! I’m looking forward to offering more for my readers.
These are such awesome tips that I need to start using. I took a break for a little while but now it is time to start building my blog up again!

It’s my first time to hear about JV Giveaway events and it sounds like it’s a nice way to reach out to people.
Yes it is, Peachy – and I hope you take advantage of it for yourself!
Thanks for sharing this — I have never heard of JV giveaways. It sounds like a great way to gather emails from potential followers. I think when you offer something in exchange for a contact name and email address people are more likely to jump on board and share.
You are right, Jamie! Hope you took advantage of this one 🙂
This sounds interesting! We’ve used giveaways to grow our social media following as well as our newsletter subscribers, and it’s definitely a great way to grow. This isn’t a platform I’ve used before, so I’ll be looking into it!
Great to hear, Jamie 🙂
This is a great way to grow an email list or even social media. We were asked to be a contributor on a giveaway a while back. Although we didn’t expect a lot out of it, we ended up growing our Facebook page by several hundred people. It was pretty awesome!
That’s exciting to hear, Kimberly – thank you for sharing
What great tips, thanks so much for sharing them. I often use this tactic for my blog and join in on giveaway hops regularly. It’s a great way to get some traffic to your site.
Thank you, Bethany – Hope you were able to get in on this one!
I am in the process of building my subscriber list now. This is an innovate way to go about it!
Thanks for this interesting info! I haven’t held a giveaway in a long time but am looking to get back into it. I’ll definitely refer back to this post!
Thank you for you note, Lisa – Hope hear about your giveaway 🙂
Thanks for this info. I admit that I am slacking off majorly in this area. I definitely understand the value of building a list. I even have ideas for opt-in offers. It’s just implementing my ideas that is the problem. This could be a great way to get thing done.
