5 Tactics for Facebook

Facebook TacticsFacebook: Building your relationships – building your business:

Facebook: I have coached entrepreneurs in setting up their Facebook or business Business Pages and, trained them to understand that after set up:

1. Join 3 groups in your area of business interest (use the search bar) – and build relationships – message privately to those that you want to get to know better.

2. Each week add 10 new friends on Facebook from the groups you have joined

==> Create a group on Facebook and invite yours friends to join.

3. According to Facebook data; photos earn two times notice from other users and SEO likes images better.

4. Benefit from the seasonal changes –  It’s a strategy that you probably use already and it’s one that works in nearly every industry. Take advantage of Seasonal Holidays. Because, change affects almost everyone, so it can be an easy conversation starter.

==> Think about an image filled with words that represent -Winter Wonderlands like skiing, snowmen, snow angels, and snowy vistas – then ask your Facebook contacts a question: “How else would you describe Winter?

5. Content is king on Facebook –  So be sure to develop your business’ Facebook presence with your marketing plan.

Your content marketing checklist for Facebook is also part of your overall marketing plan for getting your content, credibility and expert status out there to your ideal audience.

You marketing plan and your content marketing will always include:

  • Understanding the target audience you’re trying to reach.
  • Creating strong headlines to pull your readers in. Grab your prospects’ and customers’ attention with killer headlines. These are the hooks, that give you more of a chance of getting your content marketing noticed.
  • Mix in search optimization into your content. Use keywords or keyword phrases. And,  add in links to other content on your website  and/or blog.
  • Guide readers to take the next step. Don’t assume they will know what you want them to do after they’ve looked over your information. Include a call-to-action. That means ask them to opt-in for more information from you, as you collect their name and email to build the relationships further.

It takes a lot of preparation to be ready for the opportunities when they come along – being prepared makes a difference in your business and with Facebook marketing.

I want you to know that where you are coming from is valuable – but I really want to focus on is where you are going. Draw on your experience and apply it to where you are going in the future – from here.

Got a lot out of this – these steps made it more simple and helping me not put off setting up Facebook. I also have coached with you and you help me see with more clarity what I can do to move forward.
