I’ve heard a lot of folks tell me, “Sure, I’d like more Twitter followers but I don’t even know if it’s worth the effort.”
What do you think?
I think we all know that Twitter is like any other Social Media network that we can use for promoting our blog and we can get some great traction when we work it with a purpose.
Of course, my focus is on building my list and in order to do that I need to…
Get and keep more Twitter followers as part of my plan.
So I researched, to learn more and share with you.
Then I wrote a guide, about how to and what to do to gain and keep targeted Twitter followers.
Now I am more enthusiastic about getting more Twitter followers, because it’s just not as difficult as I thought!
==> And is just like growing your business, it takes your attention and time – daily.
You just need to know how to invest your time, efforts, and energy to get more Twitter followers that you want!
Ok – Let’ get into it then…
First – Click here if you want more tips and my newest guide to Twitter and Your Blog at no cost but your learning time and then find out more about –
Then check out:
1. That Twitter profile of yours.
It is you branding yourself with your profile. Even if you are blogging as a hobby.
==> Your Twitter profile is the first impression of you and the first thing people check out before they decide to follow you.
In researching about how get more targeted Twitter followers, I found a fabulous and yet very simple tip…
Golden Tip #1
In your Twitter Bio – you have about 150 or so words – make it work for you. Put your optin page url as you offer a free gift. If you don’t have an optin url, then put your blog url there. Entice them to take action and get more visitors. In the case of the optin url, you’ll be getting more list building opportunities.
2. Being interesting.
==> How can you do that on a regular and daily basis?
Besides promotional tweets, which are about 40-50% of your tweets you’ll put out there – You also want to keep your followers engaged.
How to do that?
Years ago I found out about Google Alerts. There are other types of alerts you can subscribe to – this is just what I like and use. I’ll bet you may find it useful also.
Why Google Alerts?
Golden tip #2 – You can set up Google Alerts to send you daily, or weekly, email updates about what is trending and/or about what may be of interest to your audience—from “more Twitter followers’ to “losing weight jogging”—and then you can share on Twitter.
Each of these ideas, along with the Twitter and Your Blog Guide, will inspire you in your quest to get more Twitter followers!
I would love to hear how you are getting more Twitter followers in your comments!
