Got 3 Targets For Success?

Got 3 targets for success? It’s a great time to be an entrepreneur!

In the last decade, technology has leveled the playing field and propelled an entrepreneurial revolution. As an entrepreneur, you now have more access to information that enables you to make more intelligent choices more quickly. You have an advantage over big businesses in that you’re lighter, more flexible, and faster on your feet. You can target new markets more quickly, and you can turn on a dime.

But being a successful entrepreneur requires that you look at the big picture, have a plan to follow, and wake up each day knowing what you need to be doing that day.

There are some practical guidelines that can help you when beginning your own enterprise:

1. Find Your Niche.

The days of general stores are over. And, you can simplify your marketing, making it easier for your ideal market to find you. Find a need—something a specific group of people want, but can’t get at the big guys out there—and fill it.

2. Have an Online Presence.

Having an online presence broadens your customer base by, literally, millions. It’s another tool for promoting yourself and letting people, locally and around the world, know that you’re there, and what you’re doing. And, build those contacts and relationships.

3. Refuse to Give Up. Don’t give up on your dreams!

Make your business the masterpiece you want it to  be. It’s only you who sets the limit of your success.

Being successful in your business requires creativity, energy, and a drive to keep going when you fail.

There’s nothing wrong in failure—just don’t repeat the same mistake – learn, grow, change, move on.

Write down your plans and make them real.

  • Just the very fact of doing this will give you much more chance of success.

These are practical guidelines that are important steps in your business. It is difficult trying to find out all of these little details, let alone the bigger issues. Look at it like a puzzle – and know that there is another piece coming as soon as you start to understand each step in the making of your successful business.

    Hi Donna,

First time on your blog and nice to meet you. I think you identified the top 3 things we all must do as entrepreneurs. I am very passionate about finding a niche, so I spend a lot of time covering that in my trainings and the ability to be present online and seen everywhere and to build that circle of influence is really essential.

    Thanks for sharing,

    Beth 🙂
