How to Engage Your Fans on Facebook

how-to-engage-your-fanc-on-fb-bestYou want attraction power to engage your fans on Facebook!

By the way…

People are not on Facebook to be sold. That‘s why the best content seamlessly melds into Facebook. Attracting your audience in ways that won’t feel like their being sold to.

The question that you need to know the answer to?

How can you effectively attract and engage your fans on Facebook?

This pretty much sums it up ⇒ Have a goal to boost your audience into super fans that are eager to hear more from you and who are ready to buy what you’re selling!

Well. there is a bit more to it. So let’s get into it just a bit here.

The answer simply lies in knowing what’s interesting to your audience and the many ways that you market and brand your work on your Facebook page that will attract.

Tip #1: An important key to getting better results is to work with the Facebook algorithm to increase interaction and help you engage your fans on Facebook as you expand your reach.

» Be creative when thinking about what interests your audience and your own messaging.

According to your Facebook page’s algorithm, the more people who like, comment, and share your content, the more people will see your posts. Plus, you’ll start to understand more about when, how, what, and how often should you engage.

No doubt about it:

Your audience wants to know WIIFM – ‘What’s In It for Me?’ Why should they care about what you share?

Do you see the importance in all of this?

It means you’ll continually be growing a vibrant community of raving fans around your product and services when you pay attention to your audience!

How will they see what you share if you don’t pay attention?

Tip#2: Check out some of your audience’s pages.

What do they share? Do they have common interests that you could use to appeal to them on your own Facebook page?

» Your target audience is sharing what they like; plus what they’ve discovered what their own audiences want to see and share.

Tip #3 Include a visual in every postengage-your-fans-on-Facebook

» Engage your fans on Facebook by using posts with images. You’ll usually get 50 percent more engagement than posts with no image.

You can also put in a URL link and pull in a visual from your blog post or some other online article.

» Create your own images with sites like these:

Canva is a graphic design program that is fairly easy to use. And offers a large selection of great graphics to go with anything that you’re posting.

PicMonkey is an easy-to-use, free photo editor that lets you  create, edit photos, or design your own images.

WordSwag is a mobile app for $3.99. You can play with some really cool typography over your images.

Tip #4 Keep your best post first on your page to help engage your fans on Facebook even more!

Most of your posts will get buried on your timeline.

  • You want to ‘pin’ your posts, that you want to be seen first, to the top of your Facebook page timeline so they won’t get buried.

Remember this:

Learn more about what you’re doing on Facebook with your audiences!

These 4 tips can give your results in higher engagement and interactions.

My Facebook fans love funny stuff and cute pics of pets. You’re so right—we need to know our audience if we want to get decent engagement.

Good tips – you are right. People do want to know “What’s in it for me.” However, that Facebook algorithm is tricky. It seems like as soon as FB realizes you are doing well, they stop showing your posts to people. I have actually had a post with 100 likes – but FB said it only reached 30 people. I don’t even know how that’s possible.

Great point, Alicia – I’ve read that increased post frequency is helping and killing Facebook organic reach – Organic reach per post is going to continue to drop naturally for several reasons:

      Number of users increasing
      Number of brands increasing
      Post frequency increasing
      Number of posts increasing

You might test and see how many posts a day, per week – gets you the most reach. Thx, Alicia

I’m about ready to give up on Facebook. I have thousands of followers and I can’t even get in my own feed. It’s sad. They’ve made it all about money. I used to have great interaction and now nothing.

Facebook is such a beast isn’t it?! It can be frustrating because after working for all of those likes facebook wants to hide our content. I always post an image because I am very visual, and I’m in several share groups so that helps.
