Email Marketing: 3 Proven Tips

emailThere really is nothing new about the concept of building your Email list. The idea of building a list of contacts is not the  “shiny, bright object” for you to check out.

  • It is really just the difference between the customer files and Rolodex systems that are still in use by many, and building contacts online.

And, understanding that online list building systems give us a HUGE advantage.

  • We can connect globally, faster, easier, and use the power Social Media. Reaching…Well, literally the ‘sky is the limit’!

But, EVERYONE is trying to do the same thing in their business. The Challenge, then? –         Building trust, credibility and quality online business relationships. –         Using marketing skills to bring in new business. –         Leveraging your information and knowledge smartly. –         Having a plan, and a system that you use consistently, and persistently. If you are yet not building your email list? Start today with these 3 Proven Tips. – Because your list is one of your strongest business assets and you can use it to seriously leverage your business. 1.  Connect with your Ideal Audience – This comes from the way you communicate what you do. –         Ask the right questions that will connect you to your ideal prospective client. –         When you center your thinking on one type of person as your Target Audience, it will be easier to well, target. –         This is YOU starting to understand and build those business relationships. The idea is that you want people to pay attention to you! Yes? 2. Get clear on your message. –         What do you want to say? –         What are you about? –         Do you have a promise you are making to your Target Audience?

  • Have a central theme, even if you have a lot of different products and/or services you offer.

My own example:  I am creating different programs and products for entrepreneurs, small business owners and Direct Sales Leaders. –        But the bottom line is, I help entrepreneurs who are struggling to grow their businesses. That’s my message and my goal is to have it shine through in my messaging. 3. Multiplying Yourself ~ And Leverage –         Leveraging is a way to make what you know do the work for you. Building your email list, then? –         Is information marketing. –         You take information you already know, share through your emails, create a product/service and communicate with others what you know. –         The information, the secrets, the techniques, the things that you already know, now can be leveraged. That’s the easy way to “multiply yourself in business. Think about it. Having your own published information…makes YOU the ‘Expert’. Now go out and…Enroll Prospective Clients 24 hours a day.

Great article! I know the basics of list building but I am having a hard time picking a topic to write a free report about. Right now I am working on a website to advertise my writing service and I am not sure what type of report to offer people. Do you have any suggestions?
