No cookie cutter ad or email will perform as well as one you’ve written specifically for your own email list.

Let me ask you a quick question: Do I know your list members? Seriously. Do I know them? Do I know what they
want? Do I know what they respond to? Do I know their buying patterns? Do I know what style of writing they
like?

Do I know them?

Of course not.

Making money as an affiliate isn’t all about the marketing. It’s also about choosing profitable products. Here’s how…

Tip #1: Choose products with proven track records. If you’re choosing products on Clickbank.com, then choose those at the top of their categories (i.e., the best sellers) and those with high gravity numbers (between about 75 and 150). In addition, ask the vendor about his conversion and refund rates.

Tip #2: Do NOT choose products based on price alone. Big price plus big commission percentages equals big profits, right?

Basically Affiliate Marketing is:

  • All about referral and re-directing traffic to a marketing website.
  • You will receive a % of the purchase when you refer someone to the website and they make a purchase.
  • Your job is to convince your visitors to go to your affiliate’s website and sign up and/or purchase.

In order to receive a referral fee or commission – you find a product that you want to be an affiliate for then they provide you with your own url – this is how they will keep track of your commissions. Ex:   As an affiliate link it may read: http://budurl.com/newwealthchallenge (this is my actual affiliate link for Jeneth Blackert’s New Wealth Launch) and the website maintains all the information for you. Such how many clicked on your link and/or signed up and made a purchase. Usually they will also help out with marketing ideas and email templates. Do you find that when you are “starting” to create your own product to sell online, “finishing” it may never happen?

One of the things I love about affiliate marketing is —

** You don’t have to create your own products **

If you are like me,when I first started and still when I am busy I find the idea of creating a product to

be an overwhelming and even frightening task. We can all come up with great excuses:

* I don’t have any good ideas!

* I’m not a writer!

* There’s too much competition!

* I don’t know how to set everything up!

* I can’t figure out where to start!

  • It’s too hard!

I’m sure with a few minutes of thinking about it, we could come up with a list of many more delaying tactics.

Many of these delaying tactics are helped with a coach. Helping you through your fear and guiding you with the technology part. That’s how I started to get through these excuses.

Then, again, with affiliate marketing, you don’t need your own products.

  • You can learn how to promote someone else’s already proven successful offer for a commission.
  • It sounded easy enough – but, I decided to take a course – instead of my own trial and error.

Why try to create a product and teach on every topic imaginable in your market? I can earn just as much money by simply  promoting someone else’s program that I have tried and know works!
