Blog Conversations and Personality

Blog-Conversations-and-PersonalityWhat a blog does is help to start conversations and personality attraction.

— How do you share your blog conversations and personality through your blog?

Blogs mix in your style, brand, your trademark ,and so much more into your content marketing.

Your blog personality is your own unique voice.

You have the opportunity to communicate in a conversational tone that makes your services, your brand, feel more real, with a “human” touch, helping your individuality show through.

  • This is your tone in writing, your blog sets for your visitors.
  • Helping them better understand who you are.
  • And, is part of the benefits of blogging.

I started writing blog posts and posting articles, almost 4 years ago to help me learn how to articulate what I knew and to learn more about what I didn’t know. I wanted my blog personality to show what I knew in business that would help others.

That’s also what a blog does. It helps sharpen your sword to become battle ready!

  • By becoming more confident in how to express your services through the mighty pen (or keyboard)!

My blog conversations and personality are helping me:

  • Turn a visitor into a friend, and a friend into a client. (I do like lots of good friends!)
  • Learn how to talk in an authentic tone of voice that I am hoping inspires people to believe in what I have to offer.
  • And, help guide my ‘friends’ into trusting me with their information.
  • Build a business relationship based on trust and credibility. Which will equal profitability as a win-win scenario.
  • And, help my ‘friend’ (I truly feel like we become friends) make a buying decision.

What your blog does, or needs to be doing is –

  • Lead your visitors to do the thing you wanted them to do all along.

You respond to your visitors, and new friends, with a structured step by step process of building the relationship leading to the sale.

–      The sale could be to sign up for information about your hobby, or about an actual product/service you offer.

You blog conversations and personality help you with a good marketing plan.

A great strategy is about setting up a plan.

I have talked to other marketing coaches but didn’t feel a connection.  Donna actually listened to me and heard what I was trying to say.  She interacted with where I am and was the first one to actually take a look at my sites and what we were talking about while we were talking.   She paid attention to what I was saying and took that to where we needed to go.  Donna did more than just give suggestions (homework) as to where to go next.  She gave positive feedback, which always feels great, and let me know what I was doing correctly. She validated that where I am now and the future I am visualizing is going in the right direction. What a relief!“ Rita Bartholomew, nettingnook.com

    Some great points here!
I used to write an email newsletter before blogging took off, and now I find myself in a bit of a dilema – I tend to write blog posts that are stand alone articles. Yes, they contain my own views and personality, but I wonder if I’ve lost some of the style it used to have – maybe I should mix up the posts with shorter type posts too!
    Thanks for the nudge,
    Gordon
