Attract New Clients

attract-new-clientsJust this week, I had my online site reviewed by another professional, to see how I can attract new clients more often…

Here are a couple of things that were brought to my attention…

–          Need to be more easy to find online –

o   The consultation brought to mind the things that I know I need to be doing. But, I haven’t done. Do you ever notice that about yourself?

That’s why I like to talk to experts like this, to remind me what I need to do and help me get it done.

Things like, using the keywords that Google needs to see on my site, so that it can direct people to my site using those same words in the search engines.

–          Meta tags are huge for your SEO.

o   So now I have keywords sprinkled throughout my site using meta tags.

Very cool.

–          Next we talked about usefulness of content that helps attract new clients so they understand what I do and help them be interested in wanting more. Here’s what we all can do…

o   Share your areas of specialty, relevant content and

o   Unique brand message to differentiate your offers.

o   Educate readers a bit about what you’re like to work with.

o   Clarify what you do and how you make things happen for them.

This consultant presented me a few other sites to show me what not to do:

–          Don’t have a site that looks too busy.

–          Unclear navigation.

–          Links that don’t work.

–          Pointless content that detracts your visitors.

So the top goals for your blog, like mine, are:

o   Concentrate on a niche with your strategy to attract new clients.

o   Improved visual appeal to your type of clients.

o   Support existing customers with the information, products, and services they may be interested in.

o   Attract new clients by keeping connected and supportive through communications and engagement.

o   Remain practical, consistent, and reasonable in competitiveness to attract new clients.

Your website/blog needs to be your communication tool. Helping you keep connected with and assisting you in regular ways to attract new clients throughout each day.

Just like your own brick and mortar store front.

And, just like a store, you’ll be showing them you care.

Marsha Landeros“In the last hour I was doing some follow up calls and one of the ladies I had met at recent Skincare class that seemed interested in the business said she was very interested and has been reading my emails and is blown away by my products and business opportunity. We set up a follow up date to chat more. But without Coach Donna L. Ward’s tips and training I may have not implemented these practices of emailing and setting time to do my calls. I get so excited when I see it working! Just had to share! Thanks so much Donna! My business just went BOOM with the activity I have added to my calendar.” Marsha Landeros Benefit with Arbonne

    I agree with you.
    Haven’t used meta tags yet.
Also its better to differentiate and give new inputs to your readers.

    Donna,

I think it is an excellent idea to have your website critiqued by another professional or at least someone you look to as a mentor. You have given some great suggestions in having goals for your blog. When are blogs are visited, the customer should easily be able to navigat your blog. More importantly, they visited in many cases to solve a problem they may have so what you have to offer them should be very clear and concise. There are so many other aspects I could mention but you have done a great job in mentioning them here. This is an awesome information source and I thank you for sharing.

that was a good business move, to have a consultant look at your site. I’ve done that too, probably about 6 months ago now, and every now and then I go back and read what she wrote to make sure I’m implementing everything she had suggested. It’s an ongoing project, that’s for sure.

I wish you well in your endeavors. You’re off to a great start. 😉
