Why Are You Afraid Of Being Unique?

Afriad of being unique in businss

Being afraid to step out and being unique can seriously hinder your marketing success.

Think about it.

You’ve seen others get ready to talk about their business, and you can feel their discomfort.

Do you sometimes compare yourself to others? Being afraid of your competition can put you in an awkward feeling position.

  • You may hold back from sharing your business and work with enthusiasm for fear of what others are thinking.

I felt that way when I first started offline networking. I didn’t like it because I’m a Social Butterfly and yet felt uncomfortable in this new situation. Then one of my own clients said I had a ‘quirky’ personality. Of course, I know that, but I wasn’t sharing my fun side at all!

When I started sharing who I really was?

That’s when rapport with my networking groups went sky high! I started shining and not hiding, and my confidence blossomed. Others noticed in fabulous ways.

What makes you unique and how can you shine in your business?

Being yourself in front of other, is being authentic in how you express yourself. And, others notice!

– What are your own experiences and the things that you do that are unique to you?

  • Besides loving to have fun with others. Some of the things that make me unique are my own experiences with corporate business building, small business entrepreneurship – and this is big, my own Intuitive Strategies.

Are these some of what you do that is different…

– You go for what you want, this is also your unique ability showing up, that you probably haven’t realized separates you out from most people.

– What life experiences do you have?

– What do you do that you just take for granted as how you operate on a daily basis?

That is your unique way of looking at the world.

Now it’s time you acknowledged that. Give yourself permission to see that your uniqueness is already there for you. And, you bring that with you wherever you are. It is you making the choices that allow you to do more of what can help you shine and be different.

What are your unique qualities?

Once you allow your own unique abilities to shine through, you will grow your business the way you want, attract the right new clients, and have smoother rapport.

This makes perfect sense. I will definitely remember my beginnings as a solopreneur today… consciously – and I bet it will make a difference. Back before I knew “the rules of the road” and was green, the enthusiasm was bright, spring-y green. Sometimes now it gets tired, brown, curled inward. Thanks for this tremendous post. Glad I was right beneath you at the Ultimate Blog Challenge facebook page!

    Great Post Donna,

It is important in marketing to differentiate yourself from the majority, Once everyone starts doing the same things in their marketing strategy then it tends to become less effective over time.

This blog post certainly resonates with me as I have chosen to be in a career that is unique to so many people. As an energy practitioner, I’ve needed to step forward and educate, and at times defend my business and profession. It’s true that when we step forward and stand up for who we are and what we have chosen to share in the business world, everything just opens up! Thank you for this excellent post today! Stopping by from UBC 🙂
