Social Media conversations on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ ~ Oh My! It is your public relations system online!

Being a Social Butterfly for your blog and business across the web can give you an idea of what people, including your target audience, are thinking about your brand.

The Social Media conversations are going to take place whether or not you join in. AND, at any time, you can join in the conversations to provide valuable information.

Managing your Social Media conversations with your blog promotion in mind, is significant in building your audience and bringing traffic back to your blog. Because you are blogging for traffic!

What else can Social Media conversations do for you?

– Give you a direct line to your customers and prospect base.

Build an email list from your Social Media traffic.

==> Something to remember that you hear over and over…

Your content drives traffic. Traffic builds your list and drives your income.

Your Social Media conversations are part of your content. Leading to new opportunities for your business and blog as you raise your community’s awareness about who you are and what you do.

Golden Tip #1: You want a happy and responsive community. Take a bit of time actually socialize. Be authentically you. Building trust, like, and credibility.

One of the biggest problems?

Many attempt grand results as they become too gung-ho to make money and drive traffic. Being seen as spammers.

Social Media conversations mean you post useful and interesting, engaging, information on a regular basis, along with your promotions mixed in.

Golden Tip #2: Post your new blog updates to all of your social network profiles telling your community about those posts.

Marsha Landeros“In the last hour I was doing some follow up calls and one of the ladies I had met at recent Skincare class that seemed interested in the business said she was very interested and has been reading my emails and is blown away by my products and business opportunity. We set up a follow up date to chat more. But without Coach Donna L. Ward’s tips and training I may have not implemented these practices of emailing and setting time to do my calls. I get so excited when I see it working! Just had to share! Thanks so much Coach Donna! My business just went BOOM with the activity I have added to my calendar.” Marsha Landeros Benefit with Arbonne

You’ve reminded me that we have to interact, something that I don’t usually like doing! Yet vital for us who work with the internet so often. Thanks for sharing, Donna!

Where I fall down on the social media job is the socialization part – I don’t interact with visitors to my blog near enough. I start to, and I fall back into bad habits. I’m in a challenge with over 1,000 participants and it’s a bit overwhelming, but the people commenting on my blog deserve my attention. Thank you for the reminder.

    Thanks for the share Donna!
After reading this article, it really hit me how much better it has become to get to know your audience and what they like with social media than in years past. In those days if you were not involved with a forum or BBS, you pretty much had to shoot from the hip and guess, unless you had some really deep pockets!
