There are so many keys to Facebook page success. So how did I come up with these 4 Proven Keys to Facebook Page Success?
You know that the powerful advantage of Facebook is the ability to truly target your audience, share with them, and build a community as you get to know your readers’ likes, needs, and desires.
So I found that…
100% of successful Facebook businesses use these keys to Facebook page success…
Giving their readers a constant supply of information to be inspired by.
Their content is likable, connected with their readers’ challenges, and supports their readers in a next step they can take towards a better life, more money, more freedom, health, greater business results, etc.
How did they do that?
Well as Amy Porterfield said it best…
“I learned…how to be resourceful, how to create content in a way that entertained, inspired, educated, empowered.”
Why would you want to model Amy Porterfield and other successful Facebook businesses?
Because…
Just like you, they really need to know their audiences, pushing them to be more creative in drawing fans in.
- Who your audience is
- What you need to know about them
- Why your information would be important for them
- How to use Facebook insights to reach and engage…
That’s when you’ll begin to get a feel for the messaging and content to share with your audience that they’ll respond to.
When you give them the type of content that they’ll want more of, they’ll grow into raving fans.
There will be no doubt about it!
You’re building that ‘know, like, trust factor’ and your reader will benefit from your expertise in sharing.
In order to get your content noticed and have others care about it, you need to know your goals of why you even want to be on Facebook.
This helps you focus on the keys to Facebook page success to meet those goals.
What are those 4 Proven Keys to Facebook Page Success?
Key #1 Tactics
Build that ‘know, like, trust factor’.
This is what will help your readers want to engage with you.
– Your Facebook relationships are what will bring your successes.
Here’s why…
Consistent and clear communication back and forth communicates values, mutual respect, and shared interests. This is a common trait of friendships.
Now don’t stop there!
You can bring that relationship to the next level in your business.
Key #2 Know your audience
Write out a list of questions and ask them.
- Then listen and act.
- Offer to chat via message or phone.
- Put out a survey for them to answer.
Key #3 Engage
What are the best ways?
Attraction Power is you being genuine and friendly, sharing about what interests them, showing support as you answer questions can lead to powerful connections with your readers.
It’s also called good communication skills.
- What else helps?
Switching up your posts –
Key #4 Consistency
Look at your Facebook insights to understand what resonates with your readers.
- What times and days are they engaging with your content?
Then post for your readers on those days and times. And, be consistent. - Post 3-4 times a day – use the Facebook scheduler, not an outside scheduler – Go to “How to schedule a post and manage scheduled posts for my Page?”
- Use short status updates: Use 40-80 words or less when possible and with an image, link, or video – Change it around.

Facebook is constantly changing, and it has been a source of discouragement for me. That being said, it is still one of my top referrers as far as social media goes. I have been working on my audience this year and posting things that I think resonate more with them, and I do think it has helped.
One of the challenges of Facebook is keeping up with the changes
Thank you for your comment, Melanie
It sounds like you’re taking some right steps, Melanie – thank you for sharing.
And, yes, Facebook has been my largest referrer also – that’s why I started focusing more on learning and helping others with this! 🙂
Great points of advice, for those starting out, or, those who may be stuck in a rut! Finding subject areas to garner readers and interactivity can be a challenge. With these tips, and, finding content that you can connect with others, one should be able to become successful!
Thanks, Ladonna
These are the key foundation to build upon.
I was reading to give up on my facebook page, but I will try following your advice. I do not have a lot of time to interact. I did start answering to all comments, and that has worked a bit. I will keep you posted on how this works for me.
Awww… So glad to hear this, Monica – thank you
Also, I hope you do keep me updated!
This is a very informative article. I love how you broke down each “key” and went into detail about how they are important. As a blogger and social media influencer, consistency is important when it comes to keeping my audience engaged. I also try to be as genuine and transparent as possible with my viewers so they are able to relate to what I’m talking about. Thank you so much for sharing this!
So great to hear, Jenel – thank you
It sounds like you understand this very well – and I hope to hear more 🙂
Hi Donna,
I really appreciate your generosity in sharing your knowledge and experience in your field with your audience members. Your writing has clarity and remains focused…something I aspire to 😉 I’ll be checking out your website more fully soon. In the meantime, I’ve downloaded and read your blog post gift of “….Savvy Blogging Pathway to Success.” Thank you for creating such a useful article that’s rich with content and links to additional information. I’m truly inspired! Yours in Gratitude, WendyHT
Well, thank you so much, Wendy! I am grateful – I hope that I hear more from you and how you’re doing –
Maybe I’ll see you in one of our groups – 🙂
This is great advice. I was putting a lot of time into my social media presence but didn’t see a return, so I stopped. I find Facebook to be very difficult to unlock with all of the algorithms and calls to pay to boost exposure. Now I pretty much just use my page to promote blog posts and Instagram content.
Hey, Sage – I can certainly see that as how I used to feel also – and am sure many others feel the same – but…then I had many clients that didn’t get it and wanted me to share – so here I am. Thank you for your great note!
Facebook has always been a great platform to enhance your business. Videos now going viral are also a good way to exposure for your brand. With anything be consistent and the success with come!
Nice to see you here again, Kiwi – and you’ve said it all!
The Facebook like button is hit some 2 million times per day. It is literally in everyone’s back pocket. Facebook is the most inexpensive way to hyper-target to specific demographics. Seriously, a wise investment for every business!
You’ve said it very well, Crystal! Thank you 🙂
I’m so glad I found your post. As a food blogger, Facebook is one of the social media channels I’ve been focusing on the past 6 months. I think I’m going to try switching up my posts. Also, I haven’t spent much time studying the numbers behind my page, and know that knowledge would be incredibly valuable when I decide what content to share. Thanks so much for your post .. lots of great food for thought!
So glad to hear that, Ali – I hope to hear more about your Facebook and blogging efforts!
These are great tips for success on Facebook. I really need to work on number 4 – consistency. Being consistent has been the area that I struggle with because I forget to schedule my posts so then there are days where nothing goes out.
I so get that, Carin – I have been making it my goal to schedule a week ahead – then I don’t even have to think about it – thank you for your comment
FB is just changing everyday and it totally stresses me out to think about. I’ve hired someone to help me because I just can’t right now!
I so understand, April – That’s why I have clients that hired me to help them by doing their FB work – and/or coaching them how to do it and save time
