Marketing to Build Email Sublists

Have you ever wondered how you could be marketing to build email sublists? At this point, I might answer, heck, I don’t even know what that is!

A sublist is a smaller segment of your regular list. It’s a great tactic you can use to make sure you’re giving people exactly what they want to know more about.

Don’t “waste” your main list by keeping the subscribers only on that list they originally subscribed to.

* Offer them a coaching program on your products
* Offer them a membership program
* Offer them a special report or an ecourse
* Offer them a highly specialized “players only” list where they are prequalified for some kind of high-ticket offer.

For example: I start building a sublist of people who want group coaching on my “Unlocking the Power of Your Small Business Blog” course. I tell the folks going in that the MINIMUM price for the coaching will be $57.00 a month – or purchase 12 months for $600 and save $114. If they are interested, they can join an “announcement” list free of charge and I’ll notify them when the next coaching class is available.

What has happened here? I am segmenting my main list. I still have my main list, but I also have a smaller list of people who have expressed interest in spending time with my coaching community and are willing to pay for this opporutnity with me and others in a group community. How valuable can that list be?

Start building sublists from your main list. You are certain to make more money by using this approach.

Can you think of some sublists you can create? You may be thinking that’s too much work, but, if you create sub-ecourses… now you’ve got smaller targeted lists that are running themselves.
