Want to Leverage Your Blog With LinkedIn?

leverage-your-blog-with-linkedinThere are so many platforms you can use to leverage your blog and build your audience online!

You do want to be using one of the top online tools to get seen!

That means you would want to leverage your blog with LinkedIn.

You always want more traffic back to your site, build your list, and be more profitable with your blogging.

Yet, LinkedIn is a bit different from the other Social Media platforms.

So check out how you can leverage your blog with LinkedIn with these tactics:

1. Complete your profile – making it powerful and appealing as you share your story.

The winning summary of any Social Media platform is that you’ve taken advantage of this opportunity in your profile.

It’s you standing up networking and putting out your 1 to 3 minute marketing message. Telling people who you help, who you are, and what transformations happen when they work with you.

Golden Tip: Keywords in Your Profile

==> What are your descriptive keywords that attract your ideal audience?

Make it easy. Use the same keywords and phrases as you use for your blog and posts.

Your ideal targeted audience can search on LinkedIn just as they do on Google to find what you have to offer.

I have actually seen the change on LinkedIn searches in just moments, as I’ve helped my clients add keywords and key phrases throughout their profiles.

  • What I mean is this…When we sprinkled in their keywords that people would be searching for, their profile moved from unseen to the top 5 on page one of the LinkedIn Search results.

Ex: You’re a Realtor in Southern. California. Not all of Southern California. You serve specific counties like San Benardino, Riverside, and the Orange County areas. Maybe you specialize with first time buyers and you are also a foreclosure expert. These are the key words you want in your profile and your title headline.

Your profile is the most important step to your LinkedIn Presence.

2. Reach out to people on LinkedIn.

Not only to your ideal target audience. But other people in your field of work and interest. The more you connect with others, the more opportunities you’ll see come your way.

3. Endorse and recommend others.

It’s the best way for you to also be endorsed and receive recommendations.

Add short testimonials on their profiles.

4. Create your own targeted group.

It helps you have more influence and credibility within your group as you can also send notes and updates just to them. Getting more ideal traffic back to your site, more lead conversions, and more possible sales.

I have a Linkedin account, but have never messed around with it. I have heard great things about it though. I really do need to take the time to set it up fully so I can see what kind of benefits it would bring to my site.

So true, Jaye – and I have found that to be similar to learning about the other Social Media sites – learning and knowing how they work can become powerful for our business and blog – thanks so much for your great comments! 🙂
