Got a Secret Blog?

got-a-secret-blogI’m guessing you don’t really want a secret blog.

If you’re like me…

#1: You want to get more traffic, visitors to your blog.

#2: You want to understand how traffic will benefit your blog.

Let’s talk a bit about #1 ~ Getting more traffic – unless you do want a secret blog?

I use organic traffic by building informative content (at least that’s my goal!), backlinks, search engine optimization, and Social Media promotion to attract visitors.

Along with setting up systems.

Your routine could be…

  • Trying to get visitors to your site by spending as much time promoting your site as you do writing your blog post. Because I don’t think you really want a secret blog!

Understanding traffic is #2 of not having a secret blog.

This means that you actually take actions to go public with your blog!

You take control by having valuable content, you get into a routine of promotion, and you attract organic traffic.

Easy. Right?

Well, the problem is that most people with a blog don’t understand this really well.

That is finding out, listening, to what your ideal audience wants to read.

Ex: If you’re a Business Coach, and you’re also an experienced blogger. You may discover an audience that wants to learn more about blogging and especially promoting their blogs. Would you ignore that audience?

No. You have valuable information in this case, with a very interested audience. Which is also a part of your niche.

So there’s some great content you have ready to go.

If you see that you’re getting results, you’ll do more of what’s working for you in terms of traffic.

How does traffic benefit your blog?

The more people you have visiting your blog, staying a bit to read, and making comments. The more your blog starts to show up in search engines for others to find you.

And, the more traffic your blog gets, the more possibilities can open up to expand your vision for your work, business, or hobby.

And, as I was talking about this to a friend, and giving her the steps to promote her site. She was very excited, wanting me to share my expertise with others.

This is how programs are born. And, now I’ve formed a small community of bloggers, new and experienced, that want to get more traffic, support, and knowledge to do just that! You can join us if you’d like… http://donnalward.com/blogmastery

We set up a follow up date to chat more. But without Coach Donna L. Ward’s tips and training I may have not implemented these practices of emailing and setting time to do my calls. i find good old social media to be the best form of traffic to sites, to be fair i think the right people will find you when the time is right, less about numbers more about quality of the posts for me personally… I loved this post great read

Hey Pixie, Quality traffic is what I’m talking about – and Social Media is one of the best ways to do this, of course – but, the old saying ‘if you build it, they will come’ doesn’t work for Blogs anymore 🙂 Glad you stopped by 🙂

Nobody wants a secret blog! It generally takes a lot of effort and people have good stuff to say. I hope you can help them be found!
