Do You Have These 5 Successful Traits?

Do-You-Have-These-5-Successful-Traits?Preparing for your business success…

  • Success is your feel good motivator; money is your fun reward.

These are five traits every successful business person has in common:

1. Successful business people have a dream.

  • They have a purpose, they know why they are doing this.
  • The are being true to their dream, their vision, while also being mindful of the realities.

2. They have a plan.

  • Spending time planning so they can make better decisions. Then taking actions, quickly.
  • Gaining their self-confidence from thorough planning. Reducing their uncertainty and their level of risk. And, then implementing regularly.

3. They have, and are aware of, specific experience or training.

  • Gaining self-assurance from their abilities. And, moving forward.
  • Good instincts and expertise. Many people are experts and they don’t recognize this, thinking they always need more.

4. They’re willing to work hard.

  • They want to accomplish something.
  • And modify their ideas and work according to their customers’ needs. Which may take more time, efforts, and work.

5. They don’t take no for an answer.

  • Being able to listen without being easily swayed or intimidated.
  • Those who want to succeed badly enough don’t make excuses.

Successful People Have Motivation, Spirit. Goals, and Desire. They have enthusiasm, commitment, and pride. They have resolve. They have a burning desire to succeed.

  • You have these qualities in different degrees. What skills are lacking, can be learned. Or someone can be hired, who has the strengths, skills, and knowledge that you may need.

Your most important strategy?

It is your own awareness of your strengths and building on them. Taking consistent, strategic actions. If you need others to help you, then that’s smart!

Being your own boss gives you control and flexibility…along with the responsibilities.

–       You’re the boss so have control over your expenses and prices.

–       You can choose who you want to work with.

That means you also take responsibility for your actions. Solving problems, making decisions, and staying on your path.

Some great advice then,

  • Always have faith in yourself.
  • Take time to reflect regularly on your achievements; and
  • Reserve enough time for relaxation and fun;
  • Helping to bring about the best ideas that contribute to your success.

Thank you Rachel – Yes there are a lot more items we could add to the ‘successful’ list – and self-discipline goes hand in hand with not giving up! 🙂 So glad you stopped by, thank you!

Great advice. I agree with all of it. One of the best is: ‘Know thyself’. My aunt wrote that in my autograph book 54 years ago, and I didn’t fully understand the meaning. it took a lifetime, but now I do.
